Poster Design & Logo Design

NUS Libraries / Yale-NUS Library Writers’ Centre is a peer tutoring space open during term time, supporting academic, co-curricular, and extracurricular writing across disciplines.  In addition to its tutoring services, it also hosts a range of literary events—including workshops, readings, talks, and panel discussions.

From 2022 to 2025, I worked as a designer for the Writers’ Centre, primarily creating posters for its events. I was given the freedom to explore a range of visual styles, which allowed me to tailor each design to the tone of the event, the featured authors, and their work.

My goal was to make each poster visually engaging—fun, colourful, and eye-catching—especially given the large amount of text that needed to be communicated. Each design was an opportunity to reflect the event’s character and to experiment with new ways of poster design.

I was also commissioned to design a set of logo designs to be used for their merchandise such as tote bags and shirts.
