Freereina! x Chestnut Bakery (2025)

Animation

Freereina! is an upcoming Singapore-based band with a punchy, loud, shoegaze-inspired sound.

Freereina! reached out to commission a custom animation to promote their show with Chestnut Bakery (CN) in Singapore. The animation utilised a mix of scanned hand-drawn, and cut-out elements. I decided to keep to a simple palette of blue and brown against the white background and featured elements that represented the two bands (such as the FR! members walking, the cat in the snow, and the chestnut house).
